General Questions
All of Dupage county and some surrounding suburbs.
At this time, we DO NOT service in the city of Chicago.
For appliances we will need to know the brand, model and serial number off of the tag on the appliance. Owners manuals for appliances do not have full model numbers and never have the serial number. If you are having trouble finding the tag on your appliance, please call us and we will be happy to help you find it.
For smart home devices we only need the brand and model number on the package.
Our service charge is $75 for most appliances. The Service Charge covers the cost of bringing a fully-trained technician and his mobile shop/office to your home to properly diagnose the problem with your appliance and give you a written repair estimate.
Anything that may require a helper or additional time due to space and/or installation issues may require additional charges. Stack washer/dryer units (NOT combo units) and built-in appliances are some examples.
No, the service charge is included in the total cost of the repair. Companies that say they “waive” the service charge are using an old trick of the trade to make you believe you are getting a better price overall. The truth is, EVERY company gets their service charge in one way or another. Those companies that bait their customers with this philosophy, for the most part, are simply charging a higher repair cost to recover the service charge that they are “waiving”.
Our policy is to be honest and upfront about EXACTLY what you are paying for.
Most smart home devices are $109 to install.
This is for a standard installation and set-up that uses existing wiring and components included with the device.
Installation that requires additional wiring and/or components will be quoted before the work is started. If the new estimate is declined or the unit can’t be installed due to circumstances out of our control (such as old wiring, safety issues, etc…) there will be a $79 service charge to cover the trip and evaluation.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MC, AmEx & Discover), checks and cash.
Payment for services is expected at the time of service. We do not bill for services at this time. Special arrangements can be made ahead of time for businesses and landlords.

Services Info
We provide a 90 Day “peace of mind” warranty on parts and labor. This warranty covers the same complaint/repair that was on the original service request. If the same part fails within 90 days it will be replaced at no charge to you.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no warranty for part(s) and labor, on customer supplied parts.
We repair residential ranges, cooktops, built-in ovens, microwaves, warming drawers, vent hoods, downdrafts, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, trash compactors, washers and dryers.
We DO NOT service commercial appliances or small countertop appliances.
At this time, we install smart wifi thermostats, smart wifi doorbells, smart wifi door locks, smart wifi smoke/CO detectors and smart wifi security cameras.
At this time, we service Admiral, Amana, Bosch, Broan, Caloric, Ecobee, Electrolux, Fisher & Paykel, Frigidaire, General Electric, Honeywell, Hotpoint, Jenn-Air, Kenmore, Kitchen Aid, LG, Magic Chef, Maytag, Nest, Roper, Samsung, Speed Queen, Tappan, Thermador, Whirlpool, White Westinghouse

Due to the complexity built into appliances, we are unable to diagnose issues over the phone. Most problems can have multiple possible causes. Being able to say which one it is, over the phone, would be a guess. We believe our customers deserve a better answer than a guess.

Emergency Questions
Yes. However, the service charge for same day and after hours service is $109. Parts and Labor will be charged at our standard rate, though.
Not at this time. We are available by phone and email from 8AM-8PM, 7 days/week (except holidays). However, we only offer service MON-FRI 8AM-6PM and SAT 8AM-1PM.
We only offer repair service. Due to Covid many parts are on backorder and supplies are out of our control. Temporary use appliances can be rented from places such as Rent A Center, among others.
